Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor returned to the octagon after a almost two-year hiatus at last weekend's UFC 229 event, where he attempted to reclaim the UFC's 155-pound title from undefeated champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Since the post-fight brawl at UFC 229, there's been plenty of speculation and debate as to whether Khabib Nurmagomedov could be stripped of the lightweight belt.

Stefer further maintained that Khabib's post-fight incident cannot be justified since it could set a bad example for public in general and underage children who watched the match. Members of Nurmagomedov's crew were also arrested for attacking McGregor in the Octagon.

The athletic Commission of Nevada (NSAC) has suspended the Irish fighter of the mixed style of Conor McGregor from fighting for a period of one month.

Nurmagomedov had barely released his hold after McGregor tapped out when he launched himself over the Octagon fence, apparently targeting McGregor's training partner, Dillon Danis, as security tried to quell the chaos in the crowd.
