Tom Arnold Claims ‘Apes**t’ Mark Burnett Attacked Him At Pre-Emmys Party

Arnold accused Burnett on Twitter of going "apes-t" and "choked me at this huge Emmy party". "I'm waiting for LAPD".

In the early hours of Monday morning, actress and "The Bible" producer Roma Downey posted a photo of her bruised hand after an alleged encounter with actor Tom Arnold. "Is your TV show worth it Tom?Please stop", she wrote.

Arnold replied to Downey's tweet with a threat of legal action for "defamation", and has since claimed that Kevin Bacon is 'a solid reliable brawl witness'. Arnold has been pressing Burnett to release recordings he allegedly has of then-Apprentice host Donald Trump saying the N-word and other disgusting things on the set of the reality show.

The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold premieres Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10:30/9:30c on Viceland.

The underlying affidavit outlining probable cause for the warrant was sealed by state District Judge Brandon Birmingham. He described Jean's death as an avoidable tragedy and said the group wants to know why Guyger has not been fired.

The duo were entering the Evening Before the Emmys event in West Los Angeles when Arnold ran into Burnett. Arnold believes the tapes reveal Trump using the n-word and other epithets.

The LAPD has not yet responded to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment, but Arnold's lawyer Marty Singer claims that Burnett "attacked" Arnold. "I'd like him to stand up and say, 'actually, we had to cut out all the lies and sexual harassment and the insanity and the incompetence, we had to cut all that out.' That's the tape I want". Imagine having to explain that not only is Donald Trump president, but Tom Arnold is on a mission to take him down. (A source within earshot of the tussle said Arnold challenged Burnett on the Apprentice outtakes, specifically.) The source also said it was unclear who made the first move. He confirmed the altercation (he calls it an "unprovoked attack" by Burnett) and says Tom "has a witness" that will back him up.

ET has reached out to reps for Arnold and Burnett as well as the police.

And, for his part, Donald Trump tweeted that he doesn't "have that word in my vocabulary, and never have". "Mark Burnett says he's a Christian and he lets that man do all this bullshit and he's in this town making money and people are working?"
