Six Flags contest invites guests to stay in coffin for 30 hours

From 1pm on October 13 to 7pm on October 14, six contestants will each lie down in a 2-by-7-foot coffin, where they'll have to stay for the duration, save for one six-minute bathroom break each hour.

If there's a tie, only one person will get the cash.

And guess what? If you finish. you get to keep the coffin! A "deluxe, 2' x 7', slightly used coffin", according to the park.

It will mean six individuals tasked with spending 30 hours in a coffin.

Entrants can bring a friend to Fright Fest, but once the event ends, the friends hit the road and the sleeping dead must fend for themselves.

Those who make it through the 30-hour sentence are in with a chance to win two 2019 Gold Season Passes or a Fright Fest prize package.

The challenge is similar to Airbnb's 2016 Halloween offering of a night's stay in Bran Castle in Transylvania - the inspiration for Count Dracula's castle in Bram Stoker's famous novel, Dracula.
