The NWS says air quality in Western Washington is expected to worsen starting Sunday.

In the United States, smoke from wildfires also clogged the sky across the west, blotting out mountains and city skylines from OR to Colorado, delaying flights and forcing authorities to tell even healthy adults in the Seattle area to stay indoors.

With winds pushing smoke from British Columbia and the fires in the Cascades in our direction, we expect poor air quality to continue through Wednesday.
