Tom Brady cuts WEEI interview short after questions about Alex Guerrero

Tom Brady somehow keeps digging himself and the New England Patriots deeper when it comes to his controversial personal trainer, guru, and close friend Alex Guerrero. But when host Kirk Minihane asked if anything had changed between this year and last that would now allow Guerrero to travel on the plane, Brady refused to share details.

For the second time this summer, Tom Brady ended an interview when questions about Alex Guerrero popped up.

"[Guerrero] was with me this last week", Brady said when asked about Guerrero being on the team's plane recently.

Minihane continued to press, detailing his own encounter with Brady's buddy at the Super Bowl in February, when Guerrero allegedly said he and coach Bill Belichick had a "pretty good relationship". I have a lot of respect for Eric going all the way back to when we talked to him coming out of Minnesota, and when Josh [McDaniels] drafted him [in Denver], and to Tennessee, and the Jets and so forth. Or was that an understanding of other things? What led to that being able to happen this year?

Your move, Congress: Despite Trump's statement from the Oval Office, he does need Congressional approval to sign onto a new deal. Negotiations between the United States and Mexico resolved a major stumbling block on auto manufacturing.

"You know, I'm not getting into all that", the MVP said. I am just trying to figure out because I saw the reports this weekend that he's traveling with the team.

Brady: Yeah, all right, guys. "I'll talk to you later", and hung up the phone.

This is not the first time Brady ended an interaction with the media over questions relating to Guerrero - he left a session with reporters when he was asked a "ridiculous" question about Guerrero relating to the four-game suspension that Julian Edelman was with this offseason. "Everyone knows, it is well documented the work he and I do together". "We all have a long way to go and we'll see where we get to".

During training camp, Brady halted an interview on the sideline over questions implying Guerrero was connected to wide receiver Julian Edelman during the period in which Edelman allegedly violated National Football League rules prohibiting performance-enhancing drugs.
