A rumor a few days ago said that an Apple supplier expects strong Apple orders for Apple's new cheap notebooks in the fourth quarter of the year.

Apple is said to ship eight million units of its 13-inch affordable MacBook model in 2018.

Apple's upcoming keynote is expected to be an exciting one, and we want you to participate in the polls below and let us know down in the comments on what you think should be an "inexpensive" price for the upcoming MacBook.

Since Apple is expected to also introduce three new iPhone models this September, it's shaping up to be a busy month for the company.

Interestingly, Apple is expected to launch a new low-priced MacBook Air before the year ends and a separate report in DigiTimes suggests that Taiwan-based contract manufacturer Quanta will be manufacturing this entry-level device. Importantly, Apple didn't try to sell us the laptop with the matrix TN, as was the case with the original MacBook Air in 2008, in 2018, this trick will fail and the laptop will be doomed to failure.

DigiTimes also says that the new 13-inch MacBook will feature Intel CPUs built with the company's 14nm Kaby Lake process. Apple touts it as a way to charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch simultaneously. Apple is expected to boost its MacBook sales performance this year. This goes against what we heard in previous rumors that future MacBook models will use NVidia's graphics card.

The two new iPad Pros will come with a newly-designed 18W power adapter featuring USB Type-C interface for a faster charging experience.

This is backed up by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman who both say Apple is going to release a new entry-level notebook later this year. This raises concerns among the community about the chances of Apple discontinuing the Air series. Other analytics have claimed that new entry-level MacBooks will pop up in either September or October.
