Becca became The Bachelorette after the shocking ending, and is now engaged to her final rose choice, Garrett Yrigoyen. It sounded like a softball question, but really, he was teeing up a rather uncomfortable moment.

While Becca claims their problems never reached break-up potential, Garrett became seriously concerned that it may, indeed, end up that way because of his social media behavior.

"The guys were awesome, I formed some friendships, he formed a lot of the friendships too so there are the times where you cringe or it's unusual obviously having him watch some of it but overall it's been a insane, fun journey", she said.

This became quite the controversy online, and almost overshadowed the actual show.

Yrigoyen deleted his old Instagram account shortly after the posts were made public and issued an apology on a new profile.

Becca had previously revealed Arie would be making an appearance on her current season of The Bachelorette. Many correctly assumed this reaction meant that Garrett would win, as it's rare for contestants to address off-screen drama while the season is airing. When asked on the live finale episode if he was still in love with Kufrin, Horstmann said that he will always have love for her. "Some stuff came out about my social media, and I didn't realize the effect behind a double tap or a like on Instagram". So I put out an apology [on Instagram in May].

Donald Jr initially said in a statement to The New York Times that the meeting was "primarily" about American adoptions of Russian children.

Yrigoyen first brought it up on his own during "After the Final Rose" special on Monday.

"Just because I liked it, doesn't necessarily mean that I supported it", he told PEOPLE. "And when that all came out, we attacked it, because I feel like when I was liking things, it was going against what she stands for, and that made it really hard on us as a couple", he added.

As the show unfolded, Becca was conflicted over who to choose. Later, after Becca officially rejected him, he added through tears: "I fucking knew it". The Instagram situation, I don't condone that. "I know he stands by his apology, and he feels so bad for everyone that he did offend". Garrett, I love you.

Blake, sweating profusely and very confused (especially since Becca kept telling him that she'd pictured him as the last man standing up until quite recently), left her with the words, "I love you". "She didn't let my Instagram define who I am as a person and we're moving forward, we're trying to grow, be better people and I'm trying not to make those same mistakes again".

We've all made mistakes and done things that aren't ideal.

"I think my jaw hit the sand".

'I don't want to give anything away, but I will say I did tell him to get out and he finally listened to me.
