Hawaii Defeats South Korea to Win 2018 Little League World Series

ESPN reported that it is the first Little League World Series title for the state since 2008.

Oda and Hawaii jumped out in front of South Korea with a 1-0 lead before blanking South Korea en route to a 3-0 win.

In the U.S. Championship Game, Georgia took on Hawaii.

Ka'olu Holt started on the mound for Hawaii and pitched a complete game, allowing no runs.

After its win, Hawaii wanted to remind every team that the real achievement was making it to Williamsport.

The all stars from Seoul, South Korea took home the worldwide championship in another thrilling game earlier on Saturday, defeating Kawaguchi, Japan, 2-1.
