However, Bryant claimed less than two hours later that he already had spoken to the Browns GM.

As the former Dallas Cowboys receiver watched TV on Thursday (waiting to watch the Cowboys-at-Niners preseason game) he communicated to me - and then on Twitter - his mindset.

"For real.I wouldn't mind playing for the browns.I just want to be right first", he wrote.

Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant came away impressed with Jarvis Landry's fiery speech during the Hard Knocks premiere with the Browns.

Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman said he believes Bryant will play in the National Football League this season. Bryant just doesn't seem like he's in a rush to get there.

The Cowboys released Bryant, who has racked up 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns over 8 seasons, in April.

"Ride With Me, @DezBryant!"

Bryant did confirm on Twitter on Thursday, though, that he does have interest in playing for Cleveland this season.

"I'm not sure his situation as far as what he's wanting, what offers maybe he's had that he's turned down - all that factors into it as a business". That didn't work out to well for me. He also said he is going to take all the time he needs and he feels like he has three good years left.
