‘The Goldbergs’ actor Jackson Odell has died, aged 20

Odell was found unresponsive in his home in the San Fernando Valley on Friday morning.

No cause of death has yet been revealed, and an autopsy is pending.

Jackson had a recurring role on television's The Goldbergs as student Ari Caldwell, and also appeared on Nickelodeon's iCarly.

"Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does so as well", the statement continued. No foul play is suspected. The actor also featured on ABC's Modern Family.

More recently, Odell wrote several songs for the soundtrack of the movie Forever Your Girl, including the Lauren Alaina hit Wings of an Angel. "We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately".

He was known for sharing videos of himself singing covers of popular artists' songs on YouTube over the years.
