The report said the panel shipments are expected to start in the third quarter this year, which means the phone launch could come later this year or early next year. As per a report from The Bell via PhoneArena citing sources from the display industry, Huawei has ordered 6.9-inch OLED panels from Samsung for its upcoming smartphone.
It's then speculated the eventual device will be part of the Mate family, which has traditionally debuted near the end of the year. The report quotes sources from the display industry, who has revealed that Samsung is now showing samples to Huawei. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which often takes the crown for the largest screen, is expected to be a little smaller than 6.4 inches, while the possible Apple iPhone X Plus may stretch to nearly 6.5 inches.
While the larger display won't be enough to sway iPhone users to switch, it could be a lure for Android fans using other smartphones. We'll know more as 2018 progresses, and also discover whether Huawei is planning to use this screen on a Mate phone, or an entirely new line altogether. It makes sense as the device could be expensive.
Conor McGregor due in NY court on charges from backstage melee

The Mate 20 Pro will also likely feature minimal bezel, so the overall footprint will probably be a lot smaller than most 7-inch slates.
If you like the sound of that you've got a few months to wait yet, as we're not expecting the Mate 20 range to launch until October or November. If the previous generation model is anything to go by, the Mate 20 Pro will arrive with a huge display.
Reports also suggest that the new Mate 20's display will be bigger than any smartphones available now in the market. Till now, Apple's biggest screen size is that of iPhone 8 Plus which includes a 5.5-inch display.
