A new episode of "Parts Unknown" featuring Berlin was already scheduled to premiere Sunday at 9 p.m. CNN says it will still air, but now "with a special introduction by Anderson Cooper".

It's noticing things like that - and being unafraid to voice those observations in his books, blogs and on his television shows, that made Anthony Bourdain beloved, even revered, by the many communities of marginalized people that he visited, touched and supported.

The 61-year-old celebrity chef was a gifted storyteller and writer who traveled around the world discovering unique eateries, food and culture. Another shot shows him in a dapper black-on-black suit in a fancy restaurant. While no immediate cause of death was announced, reports claimed Bourdain died of suicide. "He changed the game", said Chandra about the man the Smithsonian called "the original rock star" of the culinary world. Hell, I rode in one of Adam West's Batmobiles and a DeLorean.

Closer to home, Bourdain was an early supporter of #MeToo, noting he'd met several women who'd told him very bad stories of abuse. And what I loved about Anthony Bourdain was his approach to show behind-the-scenes of cooking.

"It is hard to imagine he is gone", Anderson Cooper said Friday night.

Schroeder runs the kind of place Bourdain loved to find - a small, out of the way restaurant with simple but memorable food. Soon after its publication, he achieved a celebrity status.

US plans to release American captured in Syria in September
The US says the detainee worked as an IS administrator, responsible for distributing vehicles and money to members of the group. However, the ACLU successfully argued that it was unconstitutional for a USA citizen to be transferred to another country.

Although Bourdain had never been to Israel prior to making that episode, he was no stranger to the Middle East, or to politically rocky terrain. There, he spoke about his depression.

"I was surprised and sad when I heard about (Bourdain's) death", Nguyen Thi Nga, co-owner of Bun Cha Huong Lien, told AFP. "I communicate for a living but I'm bad at communicating with people I care about". My internal monologue read something like: "Nope, don't want to be here, not worth it, I'm not worth it, I hate myself, I hate how I am, I hate who I've become, but, hey, this fancy work dinner in London is pretty swell".

"There's the evil hamburger that sets me off, suddenly I'm super depressed for days".

The week before that, the couple were together in Florence, Italy, and still appeared to be happy and romantic. "Life is pretty good'".

Sensitive coverage of suicides is necessary to prevent suicide contagion - a phenomenon in which exposure to suicide through someone's family, peer group, or through the media increases the odds of other people harming or killing themselves, said John Draper, the director of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
