OnePlus 6 update to OxygenOS 5.1.7 now rolling out

Aside from the major fix, the update also brings a fix for an issue for scheduling Do Not Disturb mode on the phone, together with general bug fixes and improvements. Clearly, this kind of vulnerability is not one that OnePlus is taking lightly, and OxygenOS 5.1.7 is now rolling out to fix it.

Instead, the company is working on fixing the problem and has promised to release in the OxygenOS v5.1.8 in the coming week. This update is ignored on Indian units, as many users have reported issues OxygenOS 5.1.6. Or you can manually download and install OxygenOS 5.1.7 on OnePlus 6. They stated that OxygenOS 5.1.8 will be available next week to address those issues which will also include the contents of version 5.1.7.

The update is slowly rolling out in all the countries, but it will take some time to reach your smartphone. The first two updates added a host of new features such as portrait mode on the secondary camera, along with some minor QoL changes (battery percentage next to the indicator).
