Meghan Markle stuns in blue dress at wedding with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle's dad, Thomas Markle, has spoken out about how Prince Harry asked him if he could marry his daughter.

Thomas refers to her by the nickname "Bean", said to be abbreviated from "Beanstalk".

But, as radiant and awesome as the bride looked and as low-key as Harry and Meghan tried to be, the royal newlyweds just can't help attracting attention everywhere they go.

Royals commentator Victoria Arbiter told Town & Country critics were "misguided" in slamming Meghan: "Everybody's a judge, everybody's got an opinion, everybody wants their voice heard". "I think he (the Duke of Sussex) was open to the experiment".

Thomas Markle, 73, appeared on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid to discuss his daughter Meghan Markle's wedding to Prince Harry - the event he sadly missed due to serious health concerns the week before the big day.

The Duchess of Sussex's father, Thomas Markle, has revealed his sadness at not walking his daughter down the aisle.

Thomas goes on to share more information about his daughter during the interview, including her plans to have children as well as what he now calls her after she received a royal title.
