The weekend features a more typical summer pattern with highs in the upper 80s and only isolated shower/storm chances on Sunday. Rain chances diminish as we head into the beginning of your weekend. It won't last, though.

Here in the Lehigh Valley, the weather service says it will be cool today with temperatures generally in the low 70s.
We'll start the work week with more sun and low rain chances. A few storms may meet severe criteria. Highs will top out in the mid-90s. Our rain chances will continue to go up into the evening with a 30% chance of rain and possible severe storms. Rain and storms will linger overnight but will clear up by the morning.

Just before 3:30 Central time, the raccoon climbed up another story, then settled for another rest on a window ledge. Paul - reaching up to 23 stories before stopping to groom itself and, apparently, take a nap on a ledge.
By Thursday and Friday, only isolated showers and storms will develop mainly in the higher elevations. In fact our in house computer model doesn't even have rain at all tonight while other computer models keep at least a chance.
With a lot of tropical moisture in the air coupled with high temperatures, South Florida can expect similar conditions throughout the week.
Spotty showers and thunderstorms will linger through the evening hours.
