Everything Square Enix announced at its E3 2018 press briefing

After the new title announcement, we got to once again see footage from NieR: Automata BECOME AS GODS edition releasing for Xbox One on June 26th. Finally, for the Sony press conference, we have a completely different trailer, and it's one that doesn't focus on strictly on Pixar and recent Disney Animation Studios works (Tangled, Frozen).

There were some cool moments, to be sure.

Just Cause 4's existence still seems rather baffling, as despite having a longer trailer than at Microsoft's media briefing there was no mention of any multiplayer features or other unique selling points that might justify another sequel to a series that has never seemed to be particularly popular. It looks like being even more chaotic than ever (if you can believe that) and is bound to provide great filler for YouTube compilations for the months after its release. They also spent a lot of time with close-ups of the tornadoes that will be blaring around in Just Cause 4, which is getting a December release date. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be coming on September 4th. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below. Sadly, both also had immaterial showings with next to no details revealed about what they will be like; the ultimate E3 tease. The Quiet Man is a weird pitch but a new IP, which I will always approve of. Babylon's Fall, meanwhile, was only of interest because of PlatinumGames' name being attached to it.

Liverpool goalkeeper target 'very happy' to stay put, claims World Cup victor
In-demand Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson hopes his club future will be sorted out before the World Cup starts later this week. Sky Sports claim Liverpool's decision to look elsewhere has boosted Real Madrid's chances of signing Alisson.

Square Enix just announced an original game called The Quiet Man. That was the best.

Square Enix may not have the most to show off at the 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles this week, but it does have some of the most anticipated games in development.
