Bethesda Softworks and id Software announced Doom: Eternal for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC during its E3 2018 press conference. Unfortunately, details about the game were sparse.

A new Doom game is not too big a surprise, if we're brutally honest. The combat was fast-paced, and the gore fest was as gritty as ever.

If that wasn't enough, bear in mind that Doom sold more than two million copies on PC alone, and also saw a surprisingly successful debut when it released on the Nintendo Switch. Doom Eternal is the follow-up to Doom.and that's about all the information we have on it. It's appropriate, since the original Doom took place on the Martian moon of Phobos before heading to humanity's home in Doom 2: Hell on Earth.

Pole Sitter Vettel Says ‘I could have been even faster’ in Qualifying
Hamilton admitted that he was concerned about the fact that he had lost 18 points to Vettel in the past two races. After leading all three practice sessions, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will start third, alongside Hamilton.

We'll have to wake for QuakeCon in August to see an official gameplay reveal though, E3's trailer was just a teaser for what's to come.

It shows a the titular Doom Slayer loading up his double-barrel shotgun and ready to wreak havoc onto demons in what appears to be a "Hell on Earth" scenario.
