The CW's annual Arrowverse crossover always makes headlines for the network.

Arrow's Stephen Amell and CW President Mark Pedowitz dropped the major news during CW's Upfront presentation on Thursday, Deadline reports.

When announcing the news, Amell stood in front of a backdrop that included his character Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow, alongside Grant Gustin's Barry Allen aka The Flash, and Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers aka Supergirl. We already have heard some references to Wayne Enterprise within the Arrowverse over the years, so it's not all that big of a shock to hear that The CW is finally going in this direction. For the very first time appearing, we'll be fighting alongside Batwoman, which is terrific. "I need to leave right now and start filming it". "This will be another full-throttled, action-packed event".

While the Arrowverse may hesitate from using the words "Batman" or "The Joker" (after all, Gotham isn't even allowed to use the latter), it does seem as though they are throwing Batwoman into the mix.

The airline is kicking off the service with a $59 special introductory one-way fare. It will begin nonstop service to San Francisco International Airport on June 6.

Batwoman's involvement in the Arrowverse will be featured in the next big crossover event housed on the network.

The next CW crossover is slated to air in December. The Silver Age Batwoman is best known as Kathy Kane, who was created in order to offset rumors that Batman and Robin were homosexuals. Kate Kane has been involved with the Batman Family, Batman Incorporated, and the Female Furies.

But let's talk about Batwoman herself.
