"You aren't a big fan of doing press and talk shows, so thank you for being here", Ellen told her spouse of almost 10 years.

De Rossi, who is best known for her roles in Arrested Development, Scandal, and Ally McBeal announced on her wife, Ellen DeGeneres' show, The Ellen Show, that she is retiring from acting and ready for a new challenge, says OK Magazine.

Of course, he chose to write her character into a few episodes anyway, so the fifth season of Arrested Development, in which she plays Lindsay Bluth, will be her last acting job.

She says that she actually quit months ago and told the creator of Arrested Development that, but it didn't really stop them from casting her. "We had a great conversation and then he wrote me into five episodes. Don't know how it happened".

"I kind of knew what acting would look like for me for the next 10, 20 years, so I made a decision to quit and start a business", she said.

What an impact you've had in that Liverpool team. "Even before the game [against Brighton ], no one talked about that game. "Nobody would have predicted the season he has had and the number of goals he has scored".

She said that her decision to quit acting came as she began looking for something new to do that would be challenging and different.

De Rossi said she launched her art publishing company to bring high-quality prints to everyone.

Rossi started an art curation and publication company called General Public. "The painter spends so much time on one piece and then they sell it to one person so this kind of enables them to make more sales".

And Portia wants her fans to know that this isn't a vanity project, because she is very hands-on, devoting the same kind of time and energy expended on her acting career.
