Beastie Boys Memoir To Include Graphic Novel, Cookbook, Mixtape Playlists

Earlier this year, Mike D opened up about the memoir and promised fans that they would not need to wait any longer for its release.

The Beastie Boys Book, published by Penguin/Random House, will arrive in bookstores on October 30. Plus, the book's description on the website reveals, "Adam "AD-ROCK" Horovitz and Michael "Mike D" Diamond offer revealing and very amusing accounts of their transition from teenage punks to budding rappers", and more. Officially announcing the release of the book via Twitter, the two rappers wrote: "I'm not sure if you remember, but a while ago we said we were gonna write a book about our band".

The release date for the Beastie Boys memoir, which will chronicle the history of the beloved hip-hop trio, has been given a release date.

And, as outcome of Sound reports, the 592-page book will contain excerpts from guest contributors (Amy Poehler, Wes Anderson, and more), rare photos, original illustrations, and even a cookbook.

Kinda nice, right? It's got a little something for everyone.
