Backstreet Boys are back with new single 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'

When that groove drops on the second verse, come on.

"Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (not the Elton John song) has a nice hook, and the group's choreography in the music video above provides nostalgic comfort ― with some dad-style panache.

Founded in 1993, the Backstreet Boys are comprised of AJ McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell.

It's hard not to think the group's latest activities didn't shape this track.

Almost five years since their last album, In a World Like This, the Backstreet Boys have dropped their catchy new single, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart, " and to mark the long-awaited release, Dorough gets personal with ET about his earliest experience with heartbreak.

Now the team that just a month ago celebrated its 25th anniversary, is preparing for a major concert tour Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life (it starts in July and lasts until November). Watch the "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" clip below.

The song is the the band's first new music in five years, having kept pretty quiet since the release of their 2013 album In a World Like This. The Backstreet Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
