Twitter Goes Down Temporarily Due to Technical Snag

On Tuesday morning at approximately 9:45 AM ET, Twitter.com went offline for many users, including our entire staff.

This is not the first time when Twitter, the popular micro-blogging platform, went down.

Twitter is down and by the looks of it, the outage is massive this time, spanning major countries around the world.

'Thanks for noticing. We're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon'.

An error message that pops up when trying to access Twitter says "Something is technically wrong". According to downdetector.in, a portal which keeps a tab on the outages in some of the world's most famous websites, showed a spike in of outage reports related to Twitter.

Thousands of Twitter users are reporting problems with the service every minute, DownDetector reports.

As per Down Detector map, service have gone offline in a number of countries including countries like the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Japan, parts of South America.
