Nintendo Switch Getting Classic Sega Games This Summer

Just a few hours ago, we reported on the news that Sega would be introducing a number of classic games from its library on the Nintendo Switch, under the brand name Sega Ages.

These first five games will be Sonic the Hedgehog, Gain Ground, Thunder Force IV, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, and Phantasy Star. However, a feature in an official Nintendo magazine in Spain has purportedly revealed several crucial details about the Pokemon game on the hybrid console.

As somebody who's into both Sega and retro games, I've heard a lot about Sega Ages, but I've never had a chance to try out the series for myself. The first SEGA AGES batch will come out this summer. This is certainly a welcome addition to the Switch's lineup and should help tide fans over while we wait for Nintendo to re-release their own classics on the system.
