Falling ice forced Toronto police on Monday to close CN Tower, according to the Toronto Star, which added that falling ice caused a hole in the Rogers Centre's retractable roof above right field, and that snow was on the playing field inside.

The Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals will play a single-admission doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon starting at 3:08 p.m. "Relatively large" blocks of ice have been tumbling onto the streets and sidewalks.
