According to ANI report, a five-hour long postmortem of the girl's body revealed that she had been raped and tortured for at least eight days. The identity of the girl has yet not been ascertained. Police investigations in the case were underway and the killers remain unidentified so far.
More than 86 injuries was found on the minor girl's body including her private parts, stated the forensic head of the city's Civil hospital, as reported by a leading news agency. "The victim's picture has been sent to the state police control room for identification process", he added.
The police have announced Rs 20,000 reward for those who provide information about the girl. The police is yet to trace her family members.
In the Unnao case, a 17-year-old girl has alleged that she was raped by BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar at his residence on June 4, 2017. It bears 86 injury marks, revealed the post-mortem report. Like other injuries, the wound in her private parts is of a few days old. "The girl was subjected to severe torture before being killed".
The police officer added that a case of rape has been registered under the matter and the unidentified accused has also been booked under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO).
