There's going to be an all-new, fifth generation Toyota RAV4 arriving at the New York Motor Show this month, and Toyota start the tease with a single photo.

The introduction of the new RAV4 follows last week's reveal of the all-new, 12th-generation Corolla in hatchback guise at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show.

Choosing the North American continent as the place to present for the first time the new RAV4 has been a well-planned move by Toyota.

By quantity of the won medals of the Ukrainian Paralympic athletes are second only to team U.S. , recorded in the asset 17 awards. Kurka, 26, placed seventh in the super combined, an event that consists of a super-G run followed by a single slalom run.

Switching to the more modern platform is expected to bring increased passenger space, optimised weight, and much improved driving dynamics over the current model's heavy-duty-style driving character.

Entering its fifth generation, the revamped RAV4 will sit on Toyota's TGNA platform, which now underpins the latest Camry, Prius, and C-HR and will likely serve as the foundation for most of the automaker's cars in the future.

The shape of the SUV doesn't seem to be radically different than that of the current model, but the RAV4's success as the best-selling vehicle in the automaker's lineup is probably an indication that Toyota shouldn't change too much. Last month, it sold almost 30,000 of them in the United States alone - well ahead of the 25,000 Corollas it moved over the same period (including both the sedan and the formerly Scion IM hatchback) and far outpacing the ~16,000 each of the Highlander and Tacoma in Toyota's truck-sales rankings. Ahead of it were the Ram, Silverado and F-Series pickups.
