Glover even posts a 15-page manuscript - page by page - on Twitter of what he says is a Deadpool script that seems to chronicle the series' cancellation. "FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on 'Legion, ' which will continue". Rather than take his L on the chin, he has made a decision to reveal the entirety of the script, leaving it to our better judgement to decide whether or not Deadpool got canned for political reasons.
In a rare move for the actor, Glover took to Twitter on Tuesday to clarify why the series was scrapped.
"You know, I'm not mad about this whole "cancelled" thing", Deadpool says in the script.
There are shots fired as Donald Glover dispels the rumors surrounding his canceled Deadpool: The Animated Series. Things take another turn on page 6, and by the time we get to page 8, I nearly have to wonder if this was a script completed for the project or if it was written as a direct response to the show's cancelation, as it seems to reference earlier episodes as well as taking direct shots at the network and Marvel. Deadpool asks Sudan, who never responds, because he's a rhino.
Mamata Banerjee thanks Mayawati for 'exposing' BJP
In stark contrast, BJP's ally - Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) - has merely sought clarification from their two MLAs who cross-voted.
Adding, "All the writers were black". So perhaps he wasn't "too busy" for Deadpool, after all? The references were pretty black, too. Though not much more has been said about the said differences, Glover wants to make one thing clear: His hectic schedule had nothing to do with it.
In this treatment (which you can see here), you can read a humorous and surprisingly amusing story about Deadpool becoming a conservationist, and then also him realizing that his own show is never going to see the light of day.
