Pedro Pascal joins 'Wonder Woman 2' in 'pivotal' role

Wonder Woman 2 has added another key member to its cast with Pedro Pascal.

Following the news that Kristin Wiig will play the main villain, Cheetah, in Wonder Woman 2, another big piece of casting news for the action movie has been announced.

This isn't the first time Pascal and Jenkins have worked together - they previously teamed up on the TV movie Exposed. Unlike Wiig, there are now no details yet on Pascal's character and whether or not he will be part of the good guys or if he would be playing the role of a villain.

Pedro is known for portraying the role of Oberyn Martell on "Game of Thrones" and Javier Pena on "Narcos". The film will take place during the 1980s Cold War. The other two being Gal Gadot reprising the role of Diana a.k.a Wonder Woman and Kristen Wiig as Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva, a.k.a. In film, Pascal recently appeared in The Great Wall and Kingsmen: The Golden Circle, and will be seen alongside Denzel Washington in The Equalizer 2.
