Taking on the BJP for not attending the meeting, Sisodia said that the ruling party at Centre was not serious and doing politics over the sealing.

The Delhi government has chose to lead a delegation of political parties to the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee to discuss issues related to the Delhi master plan (MPD) 2021 and find a solution to the sealing problem. "I assure you from my side that my party and government will do whatever is needed to put an end to sealing and to reopen shops that have already been sealed", wrote the Delhi Chief Minister.

Sisodia said the government would create opportunities for both parties to apprise the monitoring committee about their views on the sealing.

"Had they been interested in resolving the matter, they could have brought a law in one day in Parliament as they have numbers". Sources in the All-India Congress Committee said they will raise the issue in Parliament, which is in session till April 6.

Meanwhile, the BJP has made a decision to boycott the all-party meet called by Kejriwal even as the AAP slammed Tiwari for touring overseas at a time when city traders were facing problems.

He alleged that through the sealing drive, the BJP wanted to pave the way for foreign direct investments in retail in the national capital.

Maken said he had suggested that the government effectively tackle the sealing case in the Supreme Court, and added that as the government had so far not approached the monitoring committee, an all party-delegation should meet the court panel to discuss the issue. "Because it is not being done now, there is chaos", Maken said.

Sisodia said the BJP could resolve the issue "immediately" if it wanted to."The BJP has the government at the Centre".

Following the sealing drive, traders had alleged that they were beaten up by the Delhi Police personnel deployed on the spot. Ajay Maken will, however, attend all party-meeting to be held at the chief minister's residence on Tuesday.

Health minister Satyendar Jain, development minister Gopal Rai, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Somnath Bharti were among the others who took part in the talks.

The sealing drive was undertaken by the municipal corporations of the national capital on the directions of a Supreme Court-appointed committee in December previous year.

The sealing drive is being carried out on the order of the Supreme Court over "misuse of premises".
