As expected, the former professional wrestling superstar for the WWE, Phil "CM Punk" Brooks will be giving MMA another go after his awful debut back at UFC 203 in September of 2016.

The UFC has not announced a fight for Punk, but president Dana White previously has said he intends to give the 39-year-old "another shot". Punk was asked when we were going to see him cry in The Octagon again.

There is also now no word as to who CM Punk's potential opponent will be. It was painfully clear that Mickey Gall - who went on to beat another hopeful mainstream star in Sage Northcutt a few months later - was out of his league in 2016. He responded with, "June nine, after I win and lock eyes with my lovely wife, embrace my coaches and shout out my entire team". If Punk's statement is to be taken at face value, he'll be fighting at the event. The fight ended in the first round, with Punk forced to tap to a rear-naked choke.

Supreme Court Indefinitely Extends March 31 Mandatory Aadhaar Linkage Deadline
The central government had declared March 31 as the deadline for linking of Aadhaar . The deadline that was earlier set to 31 March has been put on hold.

All signs point to Phil "CM Punk" Brooks making his second octagon appearance at UFC 225 in June. Punk has no amateur MMA experience to speak of and he does train with Roufusport out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Chicago native dropped another hint when he re-tweeted post by the UFC.

Punk indicated on Twitter today that his second MMA fight will take place in his hometown of Chicago on Saturday, June 9th at UFC 225. That would certainly make a lot more sense for Mayweather as CM Punk is more or less on his level in terms of being an MMA fighter.
