The vehicle can haul up to seven people and is created to be able to change easily between small business needs, hobbies, and grandkids. What does that leave you?

And maybe they have a small business, too.

"It's responding to requests we've heard from our customers going back to 2010", says Tim Stoehr, Fleet Marketing Manager for Ford Commercial Trucks. The theme of Ford's presentation on its new Transit Connect Wagon was the ability to act as both an everyday vehicle while being able to transform into a professional vehicle in an instant. This means a new trapezoidal grille design and revised headlights. There are duel sliding doors and available roof rails to secure and carry equipment for extracurricular activities like surfing or biking.

The new dashboard includes a 6.5-inch color touch screen and a digital driver information readout between the major instruments.

The new Connect will be available in either five or seven passengers configuration and in three trim levels: XL, XLT, and Titanium.

The company showed a prototype for a Transit Connect Hybrid taxi model at last year's Detroit auto show, though it released no technical details.

Ford portrays the 2019 Transit Connect as the third generation of the vehicle since its introduction in the USA, but that could be perceived as a little enthusiastic. Both the Wagon and the Cargo Van versions of the Transit Connect are scheduled to go on sale in the fall.

Mayweather cooled that news down , telling the press "Just because I said I could, doesn't mean I would". "I didn't say that". The topic of Mayweather vs McGregor 2 was put to White on Wednesday night when he made an appearance on UFC Tonight .

The overall, purpose-driven shape of the Transit Connect remains unchanged. For 2019 the base engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder. And passengers don't have to step up or down to get into the vehicle.

If you get the long-wheelbase wagon with the seven-passenger seating option, however, you can not have the diesel - it's gas-only due to some kind of packaging conflict with the diesel's systems.

An optional 2.5-liter gas engine can be prepped for natural gas.

Alongside the new styling and new engines, the Transit Connect now comes standard with autonomous emergency braking. Adaptive cruise control, which now works down to a speed of 12 miles per hour, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring and lane-keeping assist systems are also available.

Ford's arrived at the Chicago Auto Show this year with an updated version of its Transit Connect van for the United States market, putting a fresh face on the model that first launched in 2012 (and reached the U.S. as a 2014 model).

Unveiled at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show, Ford's Transit Connect rewrote the commercial van playbook for tradesmen and small urban delivery operations.
