Harry Kane's 101st Premier League goal was the difference as Tottenham Hotspur earned a 1-0 win over Arsenal, to continue their fine recent form in north London Derbies in front of a Premier League record crowd at Wembley on Saturday.

Kane headed home the victor early in the second half at Wembley, and leads the Premier League scoring charts with 23 goals to his name already, or 32 from 33 appearances in all competitions.

After missing a good chance in a tense first half, Kane put the home side ahead when he rose to head Ben Davies' 49th-minute cross back across the goal and into the bottom corner. Kane's headed victor in Saturday's North London Derby against Arsenal was the only goal in a game that deserved more goals, though it was the only goal that mattered for his side, as well as his bragging rights over pundit Piers Morgan.

"I will play the normal team because it is one of the opportunities we have especially because we don't play in the FA Cup".

The two were excellent last weekend, combining for a goal and three assists in their first start together.

"We always know that, if we keep playing, keep playing, the chances will come".

After taking seven points from a possible nine from Liverpool, Arsenal and United, Spurs face a tough trip to Turin as they take on Juventus in the Champions League.

"It is awesome all that he is achieving, (I'm) so proud and happy he is in our side".

"For many years the one thing Arsenal fans could comfort themselves with when they were not winning trophies was the fact they are top dogs in north London, but that is no longer the case now".

"I chose Spurs and I think it's turned out well". We didn't create chances, we didn't have the ball like we should have done and then in the second half we paid for it. "It's very poor. Once they had scored the goal, that maybe played a part in it. Football is about scoring goals".

'It is too early, ' said Wenger. Arsenal are a very good team, but this is the sort of game Spurs need to win if they are to establish themselves as Champions League regulars.

Later in the day, Sergio Aguero scored four goals as Manchester City extended their Premier League lead to 16 points with a 5-1 rout of Leicester City on Saturday. "But the priority is still to be in the Premier League". If it's an opportunity, we'll have to try to take it as well.
