All the new Zenfone 5 smartphones are expected to come with 18:9 display with minimal bezels, followed by a comparatively large chin. Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will come with the popular Bokeh mode for both the front and back camera setup. Now, we are having a look at yet another smartphone from ASUS that has surfaced online - it's the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite. The latest is the most exciting so far, as it not only gives us our first official look at one of the phones in the Zenfone 5 series but also mentions some key specs.
While details of the entry-level ZenFone 5 Lite and ZenFone 5 Max have been flying around lately, we haven't heard much about the other variant in the new series. At the top, we can make out two camera lens on opposite sides, a LED flash, earpiece, and the proximity/light sensor. Apart from leaking the image of the ZenFone 5 Lite, Blass also shared some details about the camera and the screen on this smartphone. That said however, Asus will not feature any facial recognition technology and go with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner instead. The overal design and vertical, central camera alignment definitely match, so it is probably the "Lite" variant on display in the photo, rather than the regular Zenfone 5, as pictured in earlier renders. The dual camera setup at the back is a combination of two 16 MP cameras, whereas, the dual camera setup on the front consists of two 20 MP cameras.
