Archos, a French company manufacturing everything from budget Android smartphones and tablets to drones, has come out with the world's first Android-powered scooter. Dubbed the Citee Connect, this scooter will be available in European markets starting Summer 2018 at a price tag of Euro 499.99 (roughly Rs. 40,000).
The Citee Connect, though, takes a lot of those features and basically slaps an entry-level Android smartphone on top of it - it's being called "the first Google Android scooter". While Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is primarily a platform for manufacturers to show off their latest in smartphone innovations, lest not forget another Android-powered product that will be making an appearance.
The Citee Connect sports a 5-inch touch panel that runs Android Oreo and offers a multimedia dashboard for the driver.
The company has said that the display is protected against shocks and bad weather.
Petro "makes" US$735 million, Seagal lags behind
The petro will not be a token on the Ethereum network, as was previously disclosed in a whitepaper provided by the government. The country has experienced shortages of energy supplies, shortage of commodities and a strong rise in prices.
It comes in all-black with some green stripes on the 8.5-inch puncture-proof wheels. The scooter is armed with a 250W motor as well as a 6000mAh (or 36V) Lithium battery to ensure the 25 km range that has been claimed by the company. The screen is powered by a quad-core chipset and includes 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. On the contrary, the device attached to the bar handle of the scooter is connected with the main motor with the help of sensors, and in turn provides a number of relevant data like charge of the motor, speed of the scooter on the display. The battery life can be increased by 15 percent thanks to its energy recovery system, which automatically recharges the battery with each braking. It can also be charged via a docking station, conveniently, available as an option. The device also comes with 3G connectivity, thereby enabling you to navigate around using Google Maps.
Archos is calling it as Cittee Connect.
The scooter reaches a maximum speed of 25 kms per hour. The Archos Citee and Archos Citee Power will be available starting April 2018 at a starting price of Euro 399.99 (roughly Rs. 32,000).
