Bandai Namco has announced that Dark Souls: Remastered will be inviting fearless adventurers to revisit the unsafe realm of Lordran, when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC this May. The remaster of the Dark Souls will be released for Nintendo's portable console on May 25.

Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of information about Dark Souls: Remastered out there just yet.

Dark Souls is coming to Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but when will you be able to play it?

Stoke want Quique Sanchez Flores to replace Mark Hughes
Quique Sánchez Flores is now in a meeting with Espanyol about his future, with Stoke City claims building in recent days. Flores was given only one season by Watford , despite guiding them to a 13th-place finish and an FA Cup semi-final.

So far the only thing we know for sure is improved in Dark Souls Remastered is the framerate and resolution.

The game comes with the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, but no new content has been announced.

The source of the rumor is a Twitter user in Japan who found this listing from a retailer that had Dark Souls Remastered listed for the PS4. Lordran and its cadre of nightmarish monsters will no doubt look even more haunting and treacherous with all of that lovely extra detail. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will also be coming to the Switch after its launch late past year.

Getting a franchise as popular as Dark Souls ported over to the Switch is a big win for Nintendo, so don't be surprised to see the company's hype machine kick into full gear shortly.
