LG is also expected to launch their LG G7/G7+ during the same time period. Ironically, after the Galaxy Note 7 explosions previous year, the manufacturer said that it would begin the process of implementing an 8-point safety test for the batteries used in new Samsung handsets. Having seen the debut of Samsung's dual camera on the Note 8, people also expecting to see these zoom skills coming to the S9+ too, while the smaller S9 sticks to a single camera.

The newest of those mid-range devices, the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus (pictured above), will come with a almost bezel-free look that's now expected in premium phones.

"Samsung and LG used to make sales plans centering on flagship models but they appear to be changing their strategy by introducing more lineups to appeal to a diverse customer base", Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade researcher Joo Dae-young said.

If such leaks are any indication, it looks like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is set to continue that trend in 2018.

Koeman: Guardiola Man City success more than just money
After Sunday's game at Crystal Palace , City would have played nine games in December. If you want to evolve a club or a team, you don't call Mourinho.

If the list is true, the Snapdragon 845 arrival in the market will start with Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ in February; possibly sometime during MWC 2018. The list features all the most popular giants including, LG, Samsung, HTC, Google etc.

Meanwhile, Apple's iPhone X came in second to the Galaxy Note 8. The current case related to Samsung batteries is different though (one that doesn't end ruining beautifully crafted smartphones). Sony adds another model called the Xperia XZ Pro-A planned for June 2018 along with the ZTE Nubia Z18. Of course, there might be other smartphones which run on the Snapdragon 845 chip over the course of 2018, but this list focuses on the biggest names. As per the resources, Samsung's upcoming smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 to feature this Chipset along with the W2019 and W2018 which is a flip phone from the company.

Nonetheless, it all adds up to an exciting 12 months for Android devices, and we now have a good idea when the major players will be releasing their smartphones.
