Continued cold, more snow possible Sunday

Lows will range from the single digits to the teens but with the wind chill, it could feel close to -10 degrees in some parts of the state.

Saturday night could give us a little light snow and that could linger into Sunday with highs on Sunday warmer into the mid 20s.

Then, more snow is expected Sunday night through Monday morning, the weather service said. Total snow accumulations will be highest for areas generally along and northeast of a line from Belleville to Topeka to Ottawa with 1 to 2 inches of snow possible in this area. Wind up to 15 km/h. Wind chill values between -5 and 5.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.

And on Saturday, expect a mostly sunny day with a high reaching 45.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Wind: N/NE 5-15. High: 24. The winds will still be breezy in the afternoon, but the temperatures will not rebound.
