Barcelona have loaned former Turkey worldwide Arda Turan to Istanbul Basaksehir for the rest of this season and two more, the Liga leaders said in a statement on Saturday.
"FC Barcelona and Istanbul Basaksehir FK agree on a loan deal for the Turkish player for the remainder of the season and two more", Barcelona said on their official website.
However, having failed to play a single minute of football for Barca this season, the 30-year-old has moved to Istanbul to kick-start his career.
LaLiga's leaders also stated that they retain the right to sell Arda during this period, with Basaksehir holding an option to buy - although a price was not confirmed for this clause.

Though, the player is struggling to get back in full flow this season and looks to have been sidelined in recent weeks. During the long lay off in between fixtures, United were able to jet off to Dubai for some warm weather training .
However, as Barca were under a transfer ban, he was not able to make his debut until January of the following year.
The midfielder claimed six titles with Barcelona: one La Liga, two Copa del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup, one Club World Cup and one European Super Cup.
The club's president Goksel Gumusdag took charge of the negotiations, finally striking a deal with Barca's CEO Oscar Grau late in the week ahead of Saturday's announcement.
On 7 December 2016, Turan scored his first hat-trick for Barcelona during a Champions League group stage match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
