Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be honored with a well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The official announcement said the wrestler-turned-actor will be honored for his box-office contributions as well as his philanthropic work. "We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans", Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said in a statement.

Johnson is gearing up for the premiere of his new film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on December 20.
